Venue Info

The Academy is located at the Kedleston Road site at the heart of the Students' Union Quarter. It has two levels and a fantastic smoking terrace outside overlooking Markeaton Park.

The Academy is fitted out with state of the art PA & lighting and features great sight-lines from anywhere within the venue.

Past events have included We Are Scientists, Scouting for Girls, Charity Boxing, Dance Showcases, Hed Kandi, Freshers' Ball, Battle of the Bands, Fightstar, Hadouken and many many more!

Accessibility

Lift access when necessary and stair lift to second floor. Toilets available on all levels. Disabled evacuation facilities in place. Fully DDA compliant.
