After this tour, uLive will be taking a little break... well in fact quite a long break until October, and as a result we decided that the best way to go out, as with all good rock 'n' roll, was to go out on one great big almighty high... and that, ladies & gentlemen, is why we booked one of the most exciting new British bands of the past few years, and an act that we can pretty much guarantee will be churning out one of the very best albums of 2008- so get up, get down to the Students' Union closest to you, and enjoy the sound of the summer 2008 from The Holloways.

The Holloways

Four lads who met in a pub on The Holloway Road in London (ah you all say), but of whom there can be little doubt are one of the UK's best loved from the crop of new artists that came crawling and scraping their way out of 2006 with their heads held high and one of the best debut's in recent times tucked firmly under their belts- and here they come again with a load of new stuff and you'll definitely hear it first with uLive.

Frank Turner

Except 17 May Loughborough

Described this year by Radio 1's Mike Davies as potentially '... one of the best singer songwriters of our generation.", Frank Turner has a building reputation for honest and hard-hitting lyrics and just truly beautiful and edgy songs. He is definitely about to break big and we are delighted to get him, so get there early and enjoy!
