With its roots in Kingston, Jamaica, Red Stripe Lager Beer has supported new music and counter-culture sprit for over three decades now.
Since the likes of The Clash steeped in reggae, two-tone and ska influences, Red Stripe has moved in time with genuine creative expression in the UK.
From Noel Gallagher drinking a can of Red Stripe in the sleeve notes of Definitely Maybe, to The View enjoying a few cans in their first NME photo shoot, British bands have worn their association with the Jamaican lager beer like a badge of honour, name checking it in songs and adopting it as a symbol of their creative spirit.
Put simply, Red Stripe has long been the beer of choice for spirited and creative individuals.

Sub.tv is an interactive entertainment channel that has created a unique connection with 18-24 year olds and is an integral part of today’s youth culture.
Sub.tv connects with students throughout the day through its screens, website, mobile messaging and events, allowing students to interact and broadcast music, sport and other entertainment content across university campuses.
The interactive channel began broadcasting in Students’ Unions in 2003 and now reaches 1.65 million students weekly- that’s 32% of all 18-24 year olds.
As Media Partners to uLive, Sub.tv will be filming uLive events for broadcast across their plasma screen network and online channels as well as providing access to their music website www.sub.tv/music to enable uLive users to get more from the artists playing the uLive circuit. This is by hosting artist profiles for acts playing on the uLive tour as well as facilitating uLive gig-goers to decide who plays at the next gigs via an online voting mechanic.
