uLive is a collection of Students’ Union venues that have got together to book and promote live music in their venues with a collective approach facilitated by NUS Services Limited. Our ambition is to present top-level live music events for both students and the public alike, in great venues with great customer service and reasonable drink prices.

Students’ Unions provide essential services to students and the local community alike, however in addition a Network of Students’ Union venues has been the life-blood of the live music industry in the UK for decades; there are countless agents, A & R and tech crew that learnt their trade on the SU circuit not to mention the artistes that toured around playing in SU bars and venues building their fanbase and creating a platform for huge success and critical acclaim.

The on-set of major international conglomerates operating in this area has posed a potential threat to this position, and therefore uLive has been created to preserve and promote live music in Students’ Unions.
